Ubuntu 24.04 LTS Noble Numbat is about to get released a week later, and the Ubuntu team is already getting themselves ready for this big Ubuntu release! Coupled with GNOME 46, this release boasts a lot of improvements, including the Ubuntu logo coming back at the bottom of the screen, replacing the app drawer icon that represented the nine dots.
A decade after Ubuntu 14.04 LTS Trusty Tahr’s release, Ubuntu 24.04 LTS becomes almost ready, but there is a week into ironing out potential bugs before the release. This ensures that this release of Ubuntu comes out flawless.
On April 24th, Ubuntu 24.04 LTS will be available for download. Meanwhile, you can still test the beta version of this groundbreaking release until this version is finally out to general availability.
When this Ubuntu version gets released, users will be able to download it from the official Ubuntu website. For those who prefer torrents or zsync, you can still use them to download this version of Ubuntu.
