Since Terminaux 1.0 was released in August 2022, we’ve made continuous improvements to several of the features, especially the console reader.
Yesterday, Nitrocid KS 0.1.0 Beta 3’s development has finished, but it isn’t released yet until December 28th, 2023 comes. Terminaux 2.0 strives to improve many core features that Terminaux 1.0 contains.

Screen Feature
The console screen feature allows your console application to become more flexible to resize. It also allows your app to render elements faster than consecutive calls to writer functions.
When you enable the console resize listener, your application’s associated screen gets re-rendered each time the console gets resized. This ensures that your application works in all the sizes, not just one.
Simplified color management
We’ve made improvements to the source code of the color class to simplify the management of color. It now passes the RGB color model instance for Terminaux to dynamically generate useful VT sequences based on that information.
Alongside that, we’ve also made improvements to the color model conversion classes so that the library better describes the source and the target color model to reduce confusion.
Reader and writer improvements
The console reader has undergone many improvements, such as fixing position-related and rendering-related bugs in certain situations. It has also been refactored for easier management for your custom bindings.
The console writer has also been improved with many changes backported from the late development cycle of Nitrocid KS 0.1.0 Beta 3 to deploy fixes and improvements to this version of Terminaux.
