The latest update of Ubuntu 19.10 Eoan Ermine’s Settings app will now hide users that should be hidden, like vboxadd, Speech dispatcher, ftp, etc. It only shows all of your users.
Previously, it used to show the speech dispatcher and the vboxadd users according to our tests, as seen in the picture below:

The two extra accounts in the picture are accounts that are used by their individual names, like ftp
goes for FTP servers like proftpd
, vsftpd
, etc. One of the updates has removed the ability to show the two extra usernames, leaving all of your usernames to be shown.

You can still list all of the usernames that are not supposed to be shown by opening the terminal and issuing cat /etc/passwd
.
